Bijarim Forest in Jeju | Peaceful Walking Trail for Families & Nature Lovers
📍 The Most Peaceful Moment of My Jeju Trip: Bijarim Forest
If you're looking for a calm and healing spot during your Jeju trip,
I highly recommend Bijarim Forest, located in Gujwa-eup, Jeju-si.
This natural forest is home to thousands of Japanese Torreya trees, many of which are between 500 to 800 years old.
The moment you step inside, you’ll notice the difference in the air—fresh, cool, and calming.
It’s a place where you can slow down and truly reconnect with nature.
🚗 Spacious Parking & Easy Access
One of the things I appreciated most was the well-maintained and spacious parking lot.
It’s very accessible, making it easy for families, couples, or solo travelers to visit without stress.
Even during peak hours, parking is convenient and close to the entrance.
👶 Stroller-Friendly A Course | Trail Options
Bijarim offers two walking trail options:
-
Course A (Songi-gil) – 2.2 km / Approx. 40 mins
-
Course B (Osot-gil) – 3.2 km / Approx. 60 mins
I chose Course A, and it was perfect.
The flat volcanic gravel path makes it ideal for strollers, wheelchairs, and people of all ages.
There are no steep inclines, and plenty of shade along the trail, making it a great choice for families with children or elderly parents.

🧘♀️ Forest Vibes – Fresh Air, Birdsongs, and Tranquility
Walking slowly through Bijarim is a healing experience in itself.
